First of all, you can contact us by dropping a letter to: contact at coldwild dot com. You can address the letter to Vladimir. We are not looking for third-party contractor agencies / translation / marketing services / etc. These letters will be ignored and promptly deleted.

About us: we are a team of seven people located in Riga. We make smaller indie games that usually 6-12 months of development, but we are aiming at larger projects as of late. Both developing and playing games is a way for us to connect with the world, to exchange our thoughts and feelings with each other. Mission and vision:

  • Experimentation with game genres: always add something new to the mix, even if it is a small detail.
  • No lootbox / casino mechanics masked as games.
  • Treat games as art aesthetically, but always put good gameplay first.
  • Try to make the world a better place, as impossible as it sounds

Employment principles:

  • Motivate every worker of coldwild games to reach their full potential. Whether this is a temporary stop for you or you want a more permanent work place – we hope we’ll be able to give what you are looking for.
  • Own spare-time projects are encouraged. We do not claim any rights on the stuff that you are doing in your free time, whether it is writing music / contracting / making your own games
  • Each employee gets a profit share from the games they’ve been working on
  • We’re fully remote (at least for now)

I used to do corporate C++ programming but I got a bit burned out and decided to become an indie game developer, so I am working my dream job now.
